Guilin is a major tourist destination in the South of China, and is a starting point for cruises down the Li River, which is famous for it's Karst limestone mountains and the fishing cormorants. Guilin is popular amongst Thai tourists because online travel sites such as deal checker and some local travel agencies offer promo fares and tour packages to this magnificent place.

The following photos were taken during a visit to the city, the subsequent cruise on the Li River and a short stop off at Yangshuo.
