These photographs of Hever Castle were taken on a recent visit to the birthplace of Anne Boleyn. The weather was typical of an English springtime - raining; and so the light was awful.
Converting some of the images to black & white using Photoshop produced reasonably high contrast photos from what were otherwise dull dreary colour shots but I am not really sure that this is one of my favourite galleries, partly because of the weather but also one visit is not enough to really capture a garden - especially when you are spending most of the time acting as a tour guide for some overseas visitors.
