These photographs were taken at the end of a trip to Normandy in March 2008. The photos were taken at Arromanches, site of the British Gold Beach, Omaha Beach, the German Battery at Longues sur Mer and at Pointe du Hoc.
Unfortunately a lack of time and poor weather did not let me do justice to the coastline and the sites of such epic battles. the black & white photos hopefully convey enough atmosphere.
